Student must be a citizen of the United States. Student must be in good academic standing and agree to take a course in hot mix asphalt. Scholarships are eligible for renewal up to a maximum of two years. Preference will be given to students who show an interest in the design/construction of Oregon's highways and transportation facilities. Applicants must furnish a copy of their transcript. Scholarships will be awarded to students entering their junior, senior or fifth year of a bachelor degree program in civil engineering or a bachelor degree program in a construction-related area at an Oregon university/college. Graduate students with their major focus of study related to asphalt and attending an Oregon university/college will also be considered.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Scholarship will be awarded at the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon's annual business meeting in Portland in December. Recipient and their guest will be guests of the Association at this meeting.
